Cherry clusters2 cups Chocolate or white chocolate chips
1 cup Great Lakes Dried Cherries
1 cup CashewsMelt the chocolate chips in a microwave oven. Stir in cherries and cashews. Drop by teaspoonfuls on wax paper. Let stand until set. Enjoy!
Cherry Chicken Salad
1 ¼ cups Chicken, cooked and diced
½ cup Great Lakes Dried Cherries
1/3 cup Celery, diced
¼ cup Mayonnaise
2 Tablespoons Sour CreamStir all ingredients together. Chill. Serve on a bed of lettuce or with crackers.
Hint: a 9.75oz can of chicken is 1 ¼ cups.Cherry Spinach Salad
9 ounces Fresh Spinach
1/3 cup Red Onion, thinly Sliced
2 ounces Great Lakes Pignolias (Pinenuts), raw or toasted
1/4 cup Blue Cheese
1/2 cup Great Lakes Dried Cherries
1/3 cup bottled Poppy Seed DressingIn a large bowl, place the spinach, onion, pinenuts and cherries. Toss with dressing, sprinkle with blue cheese and serve.
Couscous Salad
1 cup Chicken Broth
1 cup Couscous
½ cup Great Lakes Dried Cherries, Chopped
½ cup Carrot, chopped
½ cup Celery, chopped
½ cup Cucumber, unpeeled and chopped
¼ cup Green Onion, sliced
¼ cup Great Lakes Pignolias (Pinenuts), toasted3 Tablespoons Balsamic Vinegar
1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
1 Tablespoon Dijon MustardBring broth to a boil. Stir in couscous. Cover and remove from heat. Let stand for 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork and refrigerate. Combine cherries, carrot, cucumber, onion and pinenuts in a medium sized bowl. Add the cooled couscous. Whisk together in a small bowl the oil, vinegar and mustard. Pour over the salad and stir. Serve.
